Everything is very modern in the business district of Gurgaon. At the bottom of the building, a part of elevated metro ofDelhi is under construction. The neighborhood is full of cars during the office hours (8 am-4:30 p.m. in general). Driving in India is very special; vehicles (from the cart to the brand new Mercedes) just miss each other, honking all the time.
This modernity contrasts with some slums located on vacant lots.
I adapt surprisingly well so far to this new country, even though I know that Gurgaon is a special district. The Indians are really charming and quick to help me.
I’ve got a little trouble with the Indian food, which is almost exclusively vegetarian. After the second day, I made the decision to have lunch at an occidental restaurant at the bottom of my office, so as not to depress and stay healthy!
Tomorrow, I won’t work, it Dusshera! This festival celebrates the triumph of good over evil.
